PC Computers Not Reporting

If a PC Computer is not reporting, we'll want to check the following:


  • Unblock Settings
  • Make sure the agent was installed by an Admin user
    • The agent will monitor any users on the computer, but it does need to be installed by a user with administrator-level privileges.

  • Verify the agent is able to communicate with ActivTrak's servers.
    • You may need to add an exception for
      • You can test this by opening Command Line and typing ping into the console and hitting "Enter" on your keyboard.

  • Antivirus 
    • We do our best to make sure ActivTrak remains whitelisted with most Antivirus applications, but sometimes we need to make adjustments. If they above have not resolved the issue, please reach out to our support team and they can help make any adjustments that might be needed.
