Productivity indicators span a myriad of metrics. Leverage the Executive Summary to quickly identify where leading indicators suggest threats to productivity levels. Use the additional tabs to understand deeper insights.

A. Productivity & Efficiency Indicators:

  • Work Efficiency Last 7 Days: This visual depicts the relationship between total time (blue), productive time (green), and focus time (orange). Understanding the total time spent behind the screen versus the time spent performing productive work helps leaders quickly understand how efficient employees are being with their time (reflected in the percentage between the blue and green bars). Understanding the productive time versus focused time reveals the degree to which employees are able to dedicate their time to work that excludes collaboration, multitasking or attention shifts (reflected in the percentage between the green and orange bars). 
  • Productivity / Focus  Trend - Last 12 Complete Week (2 Charts): Understand the trends between productivity (or focus) time vs. productivity (or focus) efficiency over a 12-week span.

Large variations in efficiency could suggest periods of deep goal alignment and direction vs. periods of distraction or confusion around purpose and goals. Consider the communications strategies/performance management initiatives that took place at these times and their potential impact.



B. Productivity & Focus:

  • Productivity & Focus: View Productivity and Focus averages over the previous 7 days and understand how they compare to the previous week’s activities (WOW change stands for week-over-week change). Use the Activity Breakdown & Work Efficiency reports to understand the numbers in detail.



C. Efficiency

  • Efficiency: Putting numbers in the context of efficiency is helpful in understanding the degree of potential distraction, confusion, or misalignment that may be taking place. The higher percentages reflect greater degrees of alignment in purpose and goals. Use the Work Efficiency report to understand the numbers in detail.



D. Workload Balance

  • Utilization Level Trend:  Quickly understand the organization’s utilization levels over the last 2 weeks. A two-week view provides insight into where burnout and low engagement is going unaddressed. Use the Workload Balance report to understand the numbers in detail.

  • Top Changes in Category Usage Last 7 Days: Fluctuations in categories can reveal the organization’s emphasis on specific activities. Leaders refer to this chart to ensure productive activities are consistent and balanced. Use the Activity Breakdown report to understand the numbers in detail.
