Release Notes: Activity Alignment Data Now Available in ActivConnect

Activity Alignment data is now available in ActivConnect for Professional and Premium customers with the ActivConnect add-on. This integration allows you to incorporate Core and Non-Core activity data into your custom reports, enabling deeper analysis of team productivity and role alignment.

Key Features

  • Core and Non-Core Time in Daily User Summary: Track time spent on high-value vs. lower-priority activities
  • Activity Alignment Type in Application Summary: Identify which applications are classified as Core or Non-Core
  • New User Group Core Activity View: Access a complete list of Core Categories configured for each team
  • Core Activity Hours/Day in Group Goals: View Core Activity targets alongside other productivity goals

Use Cases

You can use Activity Alignment data to:

  • Create custom reports comparing Core Activity time across teams and roles
  • Identify opportunities to increase time spent on high-value work
  • Analyze which applications drive the most value for specific roles
  • Combine Core activity data with other data sources

Queries

New queries include:

  • user_group_core_activity View: Access a complete list of Core Categories configured for each team

 Updated queries include:

  • daily_user_summary view: Adds Core and Non-Core duration tracking (in seconds)
  • daily_application_summary View: Adds activity_alignment_type column to identify Core vs. Non-Core apps
  • group_goals now includes core_activity_hrs_day: View Core Activity targets alongside other productivity goals
