New User Management - March 2026
Starting March 18, 2026, our new and improved user management is rolling out to all accounts. Account management actions—including merging Agents, setting the tracking status, and much, much more—are now managed on the new Users page. If you need to delete users or computers to free up storage space or licenses after uninstallation, this article provides a step-by-step guide.
Deleting a computer removes historical data from ActivTrak. However, if the agent is still installed, the deleted user or computer will reappear in reports and dashboards with new data as soon as the user is active again.
To stop collecting data, add the user to the Do Not Track list or uninstall the agent from the computer.
How to delete computers
- Navigate to Settings > Users & Groups > Computer Agents using the sidebar menu.
- Then select the computer(s) that need to be deleted. Just click the box next to their name, then click Delete in the top-left corner.
- A pop-up confirmation box will appear. Check the box and confirm the deletion.
Note: We cannot restore deleted logs and screenshots.
