Exporting Data

There are a number of ways to export data depending on which version of ActivTrak is being used and what needs to be exported.

 

NOTE:  Below is a list of reports that can always be directly exported from the dashboard:

  • Top Websites
  • Top Applications
  • Top Users
  • Working Hours
  • Activity Log
  • Alarm Log

Premium and Advanced Plans

ActivConnect

Data can be exported for a user's activity with regular querying and personalized reporting with other sources such as data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) and other data sources with ActivConnect. To learn more about ActivConnect by navigating to Integrations.

SCREENSHOTS

There is also the option to export all screenshots from the Alarms> Screenshots > History page.

Filters can be used to narrow down which screenshots are exported. Download the screenshots either to a zipped folder on the computer, or send them to a connected Google Drive account.

 

LOGS

Choose the "Export" option in the Live Reports > Activity Log. Just like with screenshots, these results can be filtered to export specific sets of data.

 

 LAST 7 DAYS OF DATA

To export the last seven days worth of data go to the Computers (Storage) page, either by clicking on the license count in the top right corner or by clicking on Settings > Users & Groups > User Agents in the left navigation menu.

 

 Click on "Export Last 7 Days" and then choose to either download it to the computer or import it to a Google Drive account.

Free Accounts

SCREENSHOTS

Free accounts do not have the ability to export their screenshots like the Advanced Plan, but they are able to save screenshots individually.

1. To do this, go to Alarms >Screenshots > History.

2. Once here, set the filters to narrow down the dates, activities, filters, etc, and then open the individual screenshot.

3. Left-click on the screenshot to zoom in, and then right-click and save the image.

Last 7 Days of Data

Free accounts are also able to export the last seven days worth of data from the User Agents page the same as Advanced accounts.
