There are a handful of ways to deploy the ActivTrak Agent. Below are links to the corresponding articles on supported methods of installation. The letters on the left indicate whether each method allows ActivTrak to be installed unknown (U) to the user (this of course depends on access to the machine), and which operating systems it can be used for.
Deploying to the machine directly:
*This direct install method would leave a browser and download history, so if you want ActivTrak to be undiscovered by the user, you will want to clear them after installation. **For our Linux and alternative OS users, or for those using Google Chromebooks, the Chrome agent can be installed to track any activity within the browser (it will not track application activity). When installing a Windows or Mac agent, all browser and application activity can be tracked and the Chrome agent is not necessary.
