Warning!
Resetting user data is permanent and irreversible. All historical activity data will be deleted from ActivTrak, but the user record, identifiers, and tracking status will remain intact.
Use the Reset user data action to clear a user's activity data and start fresh while maintaining the user record and agent assignment. This is particularly useful when:
- Completing an ActivTrak trial and wanting to start clean for the paid period
- A user changes roles significantly, and you want to track the new role performance separately
- Testing or training scenarios where you want to clear practice data
For a single user
- Find the user using the search bar or applying filters
- Click the three-dot menu on the right side of the user's row
- Select Reset user data
- Confirm your selection in the popup window by clicking Reset user data
For multiple users
- Select multiple users using the checkboxes to the left of the table
- Click the Reset user data button at the top of the table
- Acknowledge that the data will be permanently deleted and that the action cannot be undone
- Click Reset user data to confirm
Important:
- After resetting user data, the user(s) will be assigned the Unlicensed status. Users remain unlicensed until their Agent captures productivity data and comes online.
- Resetting user data frees the associated user licenses; when data collection resumes, each reactivated Agent will consume a license.
