Feature description

ActivConnect User Work Schedules introduces a new view in ActivConnect that provides access to employees' work schedules data, enabling customers to analyze productivity within scheduled hours and create custom reports. This enhancement helps operations managers, workforce analysts, and IT administrators make more informed decisions about staffing optimization and schedule adherence.

  • New User Work Schedules View: Access and analyze employee work schedules directly within ActivConnect
  • Enhanced Daily User Summary: New fields to track productive time specifically within scheduled hours
  • Schedule data integration: Incorporate schedule data into custom reporting and analytics

Use cases

Operations managers can analyze productivity patterns during scheduled hours to identify opportunities for optimizing staffing and improving schedule adherence. Workforce analysts can create custom reports that compare expected work schedules against actual productive time to support data-driven decision-making.

 

How to access

  • Direct access: The data will automatically be accessible via the ActivConnect API Navigation Path. Access through your existing ActivConnect integration

 

1. New User Work Schedules View

A new user_work_schedules view has been added to ActivConnect for all paying customers. This view provides detailed information about employee work schedules, allowing customers to:

  • Query and analyze employee work schedules directly within ActivConnect
  • Incorporate schedule data into custom reporting
  • Compare actual work time with expected scheduled hours
  • Support more informed analysis and decision-making

 

2. Enhanced Daily User Summary

The existing daily_user_summary view has been enhanced with new fields to track productive time that occurs specifically within scheduled hours:

  • productive_passive_duration_seconds_in_schedule: Total passive productive time within scheduled days or hours (in seconds)
  • productive_active_duration_seconds_in_schedule: Total active productive time within scheduled days or hours (in seconds)

  • Currently only available to customers with the ActivConnect add-on
