What's new:

ActivTrak for BI - Customizable ActivTrak Reports v5.0 brings smarter scheduling awareness, time-off intelligence, and faster data performance to your workforce analytics. Users with HRIS Integration enabled now see approved time off reflected in metrics, schedule-based productivity splits, and utilization classifications—eliminating false penalties for planned absences. Incremental refresh on the Power BI online service ensures faster, lighter data loads while maintaining a rolling 12-month history.

 

Key capabilities:

  • Schedule awareness: View Flexible and non-flexible schedules alongside Productive Time split by scheduled vs. non-scheduled hours, plus Late Start and Early End metrics aligned to individual schedules.
  • Time Off (PTO) intelligence: When the HRIS Integration (Add-on) is enabled, approved time off automatically excludes from per-day averages and Active Days calculations—no performance penalties for planned absences.
  • Consolidated application and site names: Cleaner filters and columns with one entry per tool instead of raw name variants.
  • Incremental refresh: Publish to Power BI online service for faster scheduled refreshes that query only recent days instead of full history—far lighter data source load.
  • User-level location and utilization reporting: Each user classified as Remote Only, Office Only, or Hybrid (location) and Healthy, Overutilized, or Underutilized (productivity)—so dashboards count people, not user-days.
  • Alarm Logs Analysis: New dedicated page with alarm breakdowns by name and user, volume trends, and individual event logs.
  • Time bucket flexibility: Toggle between Quarter, Month, Week, or Date grain across time-based visuals.
  • Column selectors: On certain pages, choose which columns display in tables.

These improvements help managers and analytics teams get faster answers from cleaner data, with schedules and time off automatically factored in—so metrics reflect actual working days, not calendar days.
