Release Notes: ActivTrak for BI - Schedule Adherence v2.0

Requirements

  • ActivConnect (Add-on): Required ActivConnect subscription
  • BI platform: Power BI Pro or Premium license (Tableau and Data Studio support coming in future releases)
  • Agent deployment: The ActivTrak Agent must be deployed to the user machines
  • Permissions: Admin role required for setup
  • Report access: Based on Power BI configuration permissions

 

What's new:

  • Schedules sync from the ActivTrak platform: Each user's scheduled days and hours come directly from their ActivTrak schedule configuration—the same source that powers the web app's Schedule Adherence Trend dashboard. No more shift parameters to configure per template.
  • Time Off (PTO) awareness: Approved Time Off days are automatically excluded from per-day averages and shift compliance counts, so users aren't penalized for planned absences. Requires HRIS Integration (Add-on).
  • Direct measurement against scheduled times: The template now measures directly against scheduled start and end times, aligning the logic with the Schedule Adherence Trends dashboard.
  • Cleaner naming and labels: Refreshed shift-level metric names (e.g., "% of Shifts Comply Schedule," "Start Late," "End Early"), renamed the "Group" filter to Team, and tightened tile labels (Prod. Goal, Prod. During Schedule).

 

How to access:

  • Download directly from within the app. Log in to ActivTrak and navigate to API & Integration > ActivConnect & BI
  • Access Requirements: Active ActivConnect subscription
